Okay so I’m going to post quite often for a little while just to fill out the front page and make it a little less sparse. I have a plans for this place, some require quite a bit more knowledge, some probably just require some Googling in the right place.

So a little bit more on what I said last time about my plans for this site.

Portfolio

At http://​craigbaldwin​.com/​p​o​r​t​folio I intend to put, well you can probably guess, my portfolio of work. Although currently it only consists of my University project it will have my crowdSPRING work and my random landscape photography.

I quite like this theme and the large blocks of grey so I would probably carry this over to the portfolio site. It would have the same sort of tab system with Design, Photography etc. and each page would be full of thumbnails.

Or I could break away from the rest of the site and go for one of those low fi list of links on the left with a horizontal scrolling area to the right full of images. I quite like the simplicity of those.

Homepage

When you first arrive here I need a page that will direct you to where you want to go quickly and effectively with various feeds like I’ve got in my Lifestream tab or like Chris Spooner’s site. Something along the lines of Sweetcron, I’ve tried installing it already but that didn’t work. Guess I put it in the wrong place.

Problems

I don’t know entirely what to expect in regards to uptime but every so often it just fails to load the web page for some reason. It’s slightly annoying but as long as it’s not a continuous problem for other people I’m not too worried.

And just to randomly quite someone (so I can what the blockquote looks like in this theme):
