This week was a good week for video inspiration, I seemed to find loads in my feeds, I love the simplicity of I’ll Be Gone was what blew me away, set perfectly to its music. Pictory looks very promising, the first photo series is full of wonderful stories as much as it is full of beautiful photography, and the site design as well, an enjoyable browsing experience.

As for the inspiration feeds I particularly enjoy the Luxigon illustration, the use of colour and lighting create a marvellous atmosphere to the image, at least I think it’s an illustration, the more I look at it the more it appears photographic, either way, excellent! The typographic layout of Huge is what drew me to that piece, it’s simple and conveys the information effortlessly, the choice of type makes me want to read it. And as for the Helvetica Saved My Life poster, yes I know it’s just a simple typography poster with the cliché holding the poster idea but I’m a sucker for it, simple as that.
