I really enjoyed this past week inspiration wise, lots of vibrant colours and great design work. You can always tell when I have a good week because there are 30 or more designs on show. One of the things I was looking for this week were simple, minimalist designs featuring a large black sans-​​serif and horizontal lines providing a great sense of structure, I was looking into that sort of style for my Self Promotion University brief. The Pantone work was certainly interesting, I prefer the presentation of the type to the type itself, that glass concertina looks lovely.

I forgot to post that Chrome Features video last week hence why it may seem a bit late to those who’ve already seen it but it was worth featuring. I’ve been using Chrome since it was released on PC and it is my favourite browser of all, I never really enjoy the bloat of Firefox plugins so it was a pleasant change to move to a truly speedy browser, even if the independent tabs not crashing the browser doesn’t seem to be the case.
