What happens to your website if you die?
I’ve wondered about this in the past and although I’m young (twenty) and hopefully don’t have to worry about this (I mean it would seem a bit strange for someone my age to write a will) it is something everyone will have to think about at some point. Your website is an asset of yours, this article discusses some ideas of what to do to safeguard it.

A look at being succinct, minimalistic and simple, why use 50 words when you can use 25? I’m someone that tries to be succinct so I certainly agree with this article, I struggle to read verbose writing, constantly annoyed by someone taking too much pleasure from their extensive vocabulary. There’s an interesting project of his at the bottom as well.
Books in the age of the iPad
The future of publishing is something I’m very much engaged with as it’s part of my final major project at University and this article was very interesting. Craig defines two forms of content, Formless and Definite and how the iPad now provides an opportunity for definite content to see more uses.

It’s true, designers seem to get as little sleep as possible just to squeeze out an extra few hours of work, but seriously, your time would probably be better spent alseep. And if you don’t believe that then check this article out to see what happens to your brain and body when you deprive yourself of sleep.
Opera logo with CSS
I quite like the simplicity of this, it’s not an image; it’s a demonstration of what can be achieved with CSS, it’s ironic that it doesn’t render properly in Opera but I’m amazed and how much you can do with just code. And of course being code it’s resolution independent.
