Degree Show - Is print dying?
This is the broad question I asked myself at the beginning of my second semester when I commenced by Final Major Project. It's a prevalent issue thanks then to the unveiling of the iPad. Could this sleek tablet replace magazines, while it has yet to do so, no one ever expected it to be immediate. But will it be able to kill of print? I doubt it.
Through my research I came to the conclusion it will not be able to deliver the killing blow to print. And I'm glad. I would never want to see print die off and disappear. So I thought it pertinent to produce a book that contained my research and work towards that end.
